75 / 2023 DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST - Councillors who become aware of a disclosable pecuniary interest which is not recorded in the register & which relates to any business that is to be considered at this meeting, must disclose this to the meeting & advise the Monitoring Officer; Council to consider any written requests from Councillors for Dispensations and resolve decisions accordingly

78 / 2023 TO ADOPT THE GENERAL POWER OF COMPETENCE -  providing the Council is satisfied that it meets the criteria for eligibility, this being:
 
· The number of Councillors elected at the election on 4th May 2023 equals/exceeds two-thirds of the total number of seats on the Council (5 out of 7)
· The Clerk holds one of the two sector-specific qualifications, in this case the Certificate in Local Council Administration (achieved 4 February 2016).
 
“Legbourne Parish Council resolves that having met the conditions of eligibility as defined in the Localism Act 2011 and SI 965 The Parish Councils (General Power of Competence)(Prescribed Conditions) Order 2012, to adopt the General Power of Competence.”

a. N/100/00827/23 Cawthorpe Springs Trout Farm, Wood Lane, Legbourne LN11 8LU – planning permission – change of use from existing fish farm and paddock to holiday let accommodation including the erection of 9 holiday cabins, provision of parking and erection of a new access road.
